Urban Garden Print E-mail

Our urban garden offers you the chance to break with tradition. We will create a contemporary look which expertly blends strong shapes, simple textures, colours and patterns. The planting scheme in your garden will tend to be fairly minimalist, with individual plants carefully chosen for their boldness and architectural qualities. With your input we will choose unusual and striking landscaping materials, and a colour scheme which gives you just the effect you are looking for, whether that be bold and dramatic or cool and restrained. The finishing touch to your garden design will be outdoor lighting which highlights the focal points and creates an instant wow factor.

Family Garden Print E-mail

An emphasis on fun and play, with something for all the family. Your garden as designed by us will be much-loved and well-used by you and your friends' children. We incorporate just the right amount of hard surfacing next to the house for ease of access and, where appropriate, a path running around the garden for playing on with toys. A hard-wearing lawn is crucial, as are shrubs tough enough to survive a few knocks! We can incorporate child-friendly features such as a sand-pit, a play-house or even special planting area for the young gardener.

Nature Garden Print E-mail

It doesn't matter where you live and how big or small your garden, it's possible to have a piece of the countryside right on your doorstep. In your design we will concentrate on the sort of flowers, trees and shrubs that naturally grow wild in this country. Planted informally, they will create just the right sort of natural countryside feel.

We will encourage wild creatures into your garden by providing them with food, water and shelter. By planting nectar-producing flowers we will attract insects which are the basis of the food chain and the vibrant ecosystem that your garden will become. The ideal way to provide water for wildlife is through an informal pond, but the need for water can be met through something as simple as a bird bath. We can design in shelter for wildlife in a variety of ways: trees and shrubs, patches of long grass, log piles and perhaps a hedge.

Crucially, your natural garden will not require the application of chemicals pesticides because once it is established you will have a balanced ecosystem in which the pests are kept under control by other creatures.
