Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Excellent Help for my Garden.
This video was just what I needed. I only wish I could get it on DVD, as I've watched it so many times.!! Geoff Hamilton was a great gardener and he showed me what to plant and how to keep the plants alive. Great step by step plans.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Pleasure is the root of the matter
In 'Cottage Gardens' Geoff Hamilton explores the fundamentals of why gardening is so important: it is healthy for the body and stimulating to the soul. He visits gardeners of all ages and experience up and down the country, unashamedly drawing inspiration from the past and present in his creations. The photography is tremendous and the amount of advice that Geoff gives exceeds practically every other gardening video available. Of interest to the novice and the professsional, the moving sight of the late Geoff Hamilton will really make you believe that you, too, can create a peaceful country haven. Includes construction of natural and artificial archways, vegetable growing, seating areas and flower gardens.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Geoff Hamilton's Cottage Gardnes
No gardener, particularly one who watched Geoff Hamilton on television, will want to be without this video. Geoff visits the gardens of "ordinary" gardeners and meets some extraordinary characters such as George Flatt an octogenarian who is still gardening in the way he was taught by his father. Geoff seems to be learning and enjoying meeting these people as much as we do. There is much to learn both of the history and the current state of cottage gardens and many helpful ideas and suggestions as to how we too can become "cottage gardeners" whether we live in town or country.
