Rating: - Save your money!
My set of lights worked for 2 nights and haven't worked since. The batteries won't charge - presumably due to the gloomy weather.
Rating: - Don't expect too much during winter months!
Do not expect too great things from these lights during winter. They need pretty much a full day of sunshine to charge properly when they look great. We tried them in part of the garden where they were in direct sunlight for about half the day and they don't charge up to enough to work at all. On a cloudy day don't expect them to work! I think for Christmas lights it's back to ordinary outdoor lights but during the summer months these solar lights will come into their own!

Rating: - Poorly constructed and unreliable
I got a set of these for Christmas, and put the solar panel on a flat roof in the garden. They worked sporadically at first (if I jiggled them a bit) but gave up completely after a week or so.
Would not recommend.
Rating: - Disappointed
I was disappointed with these lights. They stopped working after only having them a few days, after heavy rain. I posted the item back (at my expense) for a replacement...and the same thing happened again after another bout of rain. They really shouldn't konk out just because of wet weather!
I havent bothered to send these back - as I got rid of the packaging thinking it would not happen twice - but it did.
It's a shame as they are pretty lights.

I first bought a set of these lights for camping. Going away for the first time in ages and didn't want the problem of having to buy batteries, but to use the lights on the top of the tent for safety at night, and to locate it after a few drinks.
